We leave in less than 2 weeks to a land we have never visited, which always seemed too distant and remote, but now is within our grasp, thanks to American Airlines and British Airways!! This trip finds us leaving our cherished children at home to continue their education at school, while we continue our education in, well, other ways!
Here's the skinny on our trip......
April 28 - leave San Diego and fly to Capetown, South Africa, via Chicago and London - a long journey for sure with enough of a layover at Heathrow to possibly meet a british friend for high tea.
April 30 to May 3 - Capetown, including a day and night in the vineyards.

May 13 - leave Johannesburg for longer journey back home - arrive San Diego on May 14
